The European Women Payments Network (EWPN) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to building a community for women in cards, fintech & payments in Europe. As the first and only Pan-European community for women, EWPN strives to create more opportunities for women and minorities, as well as being a champion for a more diverse and inclusive industry for all. EWPN does this by organising local networking evenings, workshops, annual events, awards, and research, which all are welcome to be involved in.
EWPN is a registered foundation in the Netherlands, but pan-European in composition, governed by a diverse and multicultural executive board of directors and advisory board. EWPN has local ambassadors in most European countries, in some African and Middle East countries, and specific ambassadors for some initiatives and/or programmes.

A movement made of people working in fintech & payments, who are committed to making changes in our industry. A movement made of people committed to starting and having difficult conversations that are necessary for impactful change in our industry. A movement made of leaders, innovators, change-makers, troublemakers, trailblazers, human beings, thought leaders, diverse communities and impact creators.
After a series of very successful events in Amsterdam 2022, Zagreb and Vienna 2023, the next regional EWPN SEE event will be held in Sarajevo City Hall on 13th May 2024.
EVENT THEME: Regulators, banks and fintechs push boundaries together
New technologies, digital assets, virtual worlds, digital marketplaces and the increased awareness of community values like sustainability and inclusion, offer great opportunities to build a more sustainable and inclusive world. A world in which boundaries are fading and silos are broken down because we are changing the way we interact, using our multiple identities and innovating the way we create, store and exchange value.
