Rūta has spent over 15 years in the fintech and payments industry, entering the field unexpectedly after graduating in law and never looking back. Her career has spanned corporate management, strategy, operations, business development, and product delivery across several organisations that later evolved into Tribe Payments, a UK-headquartered global payment processor providing issuing and acquiring technology to banks, fintechs, and financial institutions worldwide.
Today, Rūta represents Tribe across Northern Europe as Commercial Director, working locally from Lithuania – home to Tribe’s largest office and engineering hub. Known for her direct communication style and cross-functional leadership, she has led numerous international development projects and supported teams of more than one hundred people.
Beyond her professional life, Rūta is a mother of three energetic children, caretaker of two dogs, one guinea pig, and two walking sticks :D, a household that keeps her grounded and constantly moving. She is also a passionate sports enthusiast, a runner, a wakeboarder, and a boxing fan, currently training for an Ironman 70.3.
