Lydia Prexl

Lydia Prexl is a strategic communicator with more than a decade of experience spanning corporate, consumer and CEO public relations as well as employee communications. She is passionate about storytelling and strategy, and committed to driving positive change and fostering a culture of open communication.
In her current role as Director of Communications at Unzer (since 2021), she oversees internal and external communication in four markets.
Earlier in her career, she built the communications function from the ground up at the fintech insurer Getsafe from 2019. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance editor and author and lectured on scientific writing and communication. Lydia is also the author/editor of several books and guides on communication and writing, including Wie kommunizieren Start ups?, offering deep insights into PR, social media and internalcommunications in fast-moving companies
