Albena Petkova is currently Head of Risk and Payments Governance at Paysafe, Digital Wallets Division. Before joining Paysafe in 2015, Albena gained experience in banking industry and non-governmental sector. Skilled in Risk Management, Risk Analytics, Business Processes Implementation, Business Planning, Business Analysis, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Event Management, she is a strong finance professional, with a Master’s degree focused in EU Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

Albena takes the role of establishing good governance practices across fintech industry and creating a communication forum between industry experts and legislators to apply best practices in future laws and regulations.
